Roman Hlywa (Production Designer)
Roman is a trained professional architect, a practicing visual artist, and a production designer who studied under Val Strazovic at the CBC. Although having extensive design experience for both television and animation, Acts of Imagination is his first opportunity as a production designer on a dramatic feature.
"The script lent itself to a variety of visual treatments, it was fascinating that way. We eventually settled on a visual approach where two characters, in different ways, outgrow the cage in which they had unknowingly locked themselves."
